Thanks to CNN​ for this excellent article about the Lohmans, who are loving their intersex child Rosie as she is, without subjecting her to any medically unnecessary surgeries aimed to “fix” her. The intersex community has encouraged and hoped that more parents of intersex children would choose this loving, healthy path since the beginning of the movement over twenty years ago, when our E.D. and others started sharing their stories.

For the Lohman’s to not only choose to love and accept their intersex daughter as is, but to also speak out about it so that others may have a vision of how to do so, is deeply brave & beautiful. We commend, thank and celebrate this family for being such wonderful role models for the world!
