As if being the first country to criminalize (on April 1st) nonconsensual infant cosmetic surgeries of intersex kids — aka Intersex Genital Mutilation (IGM) — wasn’t enough, Malta is now also the first nation to launch a comprehensive education policy on the needs of trans, gender variant and intersex children. We thank and salute Minister Helena Dalli and all other Maltese officials involved for paving the way for acceptance and equality!
