SHE has never definitively answered the commonly-asked question of whether she is an “hermaphrodite” or not – her questioners meant intersex of course. Frankly, we don’t care if she is or isn’t.

She has, however, sent no signals that her LGBT human rights project Born This Way Foundation – BTWF – is actually intersex-inclusive and thus LGBTI.

Our inquiries remain unanswered as do our offers of information and education about intersex.

Despite all that we hope that Lady Gaga and her BTWF will include intersex people in its work. Perhaps the way to get them to do so is for intersex people to take part in initiatives such as Born Brave.
