The the write up about the radio interview this excellent quote is from got it wrong in stating that Keenan was the one to start the move for legal non-binary gender recognition in the United States–that was actually our own Dana Zzyym, an intersex non-binary Navy veteran who’s historic lawsuit was filed the year before Keenan’s, on Intersex Awareness Day 2015—but otherwise a wonderful, and highly informative radio interview, featuring intersex activists Sara Kelly Keenan and Dr. Georgiann Davis, regarding Keenan being the first non-binary Californian.
